Ms. Young’s Empowerment class has been busy getting their hands dirty in the best way—by working in the greenhouse and creating a beautiful planter box outside of the Technology Center! Students are learning valuable hands-on skills, including how to design and build a planter box, as well as how to properly plant and care for flowers and greenery. From measuring and assembling to planting and watering, the class is gaining real-world experience while taking pride in their project. The students are absolutely loving the opportunity to be outside, work with their hands, and see their hard work bloom—literally! It’s been an empowering and enriching experience for everyone involved.
